about David

Two time recipient of the PHOTOSHOP WORLD GURU

AWARD of EXCELLENCE

My interest in photo restoration goes back to my interest in photography. It started in my youth, which was a long time ago, when my father and I would process negatives and then print them in the chemical dark room. When the digital age came about it was possible to do so much more without the hassle of dealing with chemicals. Photo restoration came about as a natural off shoot of post processing of digital images. I really became quite interested in that area. I started reading literature and going to classes to learn more about it. Each year Photoshop held a conference that attracted all the best instructors to convene in different cities in the East. They would present awards of excellence called the PHOTOSHOP WORLD GURU AWARD for different categories of photography. Photo Restoration was one of those categories. I was fortunate enough to have won two of those awards along with a runner up award during my years attending this conference. I have been at the Oxford Farm Market in Oxford, PA. since 2008 restoring photos for people locally. It is a great passion of mine to restore memories through the restoration of aged, or damaged photos for my customers. David Bliss
